| RESTING ROTIFERS | |||
|
Resting Rotifers are actually resting eggs or dormant cysts which are obtained under controlled laboratory conditions. When placed in a suitable water environment, hatching commences over a period of one to three days. Unlike Artemia (brine shrimp), rotifers begin reproducing 18 hours after hatch and will continue producing eggs every 4-6 hours if properly maintained and fed. A single female rotifer will produce 20-25 daughters in her 6-8 day lifetime, (approx. 100'000 per liter 6-11 days). Resting eggs of the saltwater rotifer are Brachionus plicatilis type (specified by using S) and of the freshwater rotifer are Brachionus calyciflorus type (specified by using F). There is also the "S" Strain of saltwater rotifer cysts. Adult "S" Strain females are about 110-230 µm long compared to 130-340 µm for our long regular Strain. Each vial contains 1000 to 3000 eggs. |

| ZOOPLANKTON AND INVERTEBRATE FOOD | |||
"ROTI-RICH" is the only liquid invertebrate food, which was developed and is currently used by commercial Aquaculture businesses. This diet is specifically designed for routine feeding or mass culture or filter feeding invertebrates such as clams, scallops, sponges, sea squirts, feather dusters, rotifers, artemia, copepods, daphnia, etc. "ROTI-RICH" is a very potent formulation consisting of a wide spectrum of vitamins, special food quality yeast's, micro algae, and specific trace nutrients known to enhance the growth of invertebrates and to enrich zooplankton. "ROTI-RICH" also activates bacteria's in aquariums, specifically those favoring denitrification. |

| NUTRIENT FOR ALL AQUATIC PLANTS | |||
"MACRO ALGAE GROW" is a stable source of supplementary trace nutrients formulated for enhancing growth of large (macro) aquatic plants, algae, and zooxanthellae (micro algae) found in invertebrates such as corals, anemones and clams. Can be used in either freshwater or saltwater aquariums. Primary nutrients, nitrate and phosphate are purposely limited in this formula since it is intended for use in aquariums that have established population fish and / or invertebrates that are routinely fed. Metabolism of waste products from this animals normally provides the necessary levels of nitrate and phosphate. If you intend growing only plants, we suggest using our Micro Algae Grow. |
